Self-Adhesive Roofing Membrane:

This roofing membrane is a bitumen compatible, heat weldable EPDM synthetic rubber roofing membrane.  It has an integral reinforcement and a unique adhesion-enabling top surface.  The underside is coated with a tenacious self-adhesive polymer bitumen, protected by a removable PE release film.

Material Characteristics:

• 40 year life expectancy

• maintenance free

• Rot proof, frost proof and highly resistant to aging

• Unaffected by Infra-Red or Ultra-Violet rays

• Needs no surface protection of paint or chippings

• Resistant to ozone and other atmospheric pollutants

• Withstands normal foot traffic and in non-slip (even when wet)

• Flame resistant to DIN 4102 part 1, B2 and withstands sparks and radiant heat in accordance with DIN 4102 part 7

• Bitumen compatible

• Laps can be easily heat-welded, even at sub-zero temperatures or in the rain

• Contains no plasticizers or chlorines and will not shrink with heat or age

• Recyclable

• Carries Building Inspectorate Test Certificate No. P-22 0969 4 97

• Permanently elastic

Installed in conjunction with our primer, our membrane can be either partially or fully bonded to the following substrates:

Sanded felt, mineral felt, asphalt, concrete, aerated concrete, stone, bricks, timber, plywood, oriented strand board, most types of insulation, and plasterboard.  Glass and metals (e.g.. galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum, lead, zinc, etc) should be degreased using our thinners.
